Frequently Asked Questions
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin, in natural, hair-like strokes. Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and color.
How long does microblading last?
Microblading can last anywhere from one to two years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and the products that you use. However, touch-ups are commonly needed about once a year, especially for those with oily skin, as the ink tends to fade and blur faster.
How long does it take the skin to heal after Microblading?
The healing process is different for everyone, but your eyebrows should have completely healed after about 20-30 days. Expect some mild discomfort after the procedure.
A consultation prior to scheduling the procedure is required. Your questions will be answered and you will be given pre-procedure and post-care instructions.
About 4-6 weeks after your first treatment, you’ll need a follow up appointment to make any small adjustments to the shape or fullness.
Who Should Not Get Microblading?
Pregnant or breastfeeding clients
Those prone to keloid scars
Clients on Accutane within the last year
Clients who have received botox within the last 2 weeks
Clients who are on blood thinners or have certain medical conditions may be asked to obtain written permission from their doctor prior to microblading.
